Last updated: 2nd April, 2026
In recognition of India’s social diversity and the importance of education in promoting equality, our institution has established an Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) and SC/ST Cell in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
These initiatives are aligned with the UGC (Promotion of Equity in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2012 and the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court regarding the prevention of caste-based discrimination in Higher Educational Institutions.
The Cells aim to:
1. Promote equal access to opportunities for all students
2. Address the concerns of disadvantaged groups, including SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), women, minorities, and persons with disabilities
